What is Windows 7 activation? How to do it manually or using the activator patch (illegal way)?

Activating your copy of Windows 7 is a way of registering Windows 7 operating system that installed on your computer and making it legal.

After installing Windows 7 to your computer, normally you are given 30-day to activate it. This activation feature had been introduced since released of Windows Vista.

  • The activating process will start. The screen displays the message to the user about the product key (that you key-in during installation) is being verified.
  • If the activation process can connect to Microsoft server via internet connection and manages to validate the product key without any problem you will be redirected to the last screen of the Windows Activation. Otherwise, if error prompts, you may need to check your Internet connection.
